Physical & Visual Characteristics

The film has a smooth, flexible texture that resists creasing and maintains integrity during application. Its upper surface is exceptionally smooth, while the sealing side has a slightly rough texture for improved adhesion. The inner sealing surface appears less reflective, enhancing usability during sealing alignment.

Application & Temperature Range

Ideal for qPCR and short-term compound storage, this sealing film delivers reliable performance across a wide temperature range from -80°C to +80°C. It achieves an effective seal at 175°C with a dwell time of approximately 2 seconds, providing quick and consistent sealing outcomes.

Compatibility & Equipment

ClearASeal Peel Heat Sealing Film is compatible with a range of plate materials, including polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS), cyclo olefin copolymer (COC) and polycarbonate (PC). It performs optimally with sealing equipment such as Efly, Kseal and 4s2, ensuring dependable and uniform sealing results.

Storage & Shelf Life

For best performance, store the film in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight. When kept at 21°C and 50% relative humidity in its original packaging, the film maintains its quality for up to three years from the date of manufacture. Always refer to the expiry date displayed on the product label before use.
