This Acid Carbon Filter is designed specifically for the VALUE-LINE 1200 Ductless Fume Hood. It is equipped with impregnated coal-based activated charcoal (CF-AC), which is produced through a high activity steam activation process using select grades of coal. This charcoal is chemically impregnated and thermally treated to remove acid gases in oxygen-deficient environments efficiently.
